Abdou Kassem
Abdou Kassem has practiced law in Egypt since 1996 and is admitted to practice before the Egyptian Court of Cassation, Egypt's highest court of appeal. Over three decades, his practice has centered on the matters that most often determine whether a cross-border deal or dispute succeeds: commercial contract negotiation and drafting, M&A due diligence, import/export contracting, and arbitration.
He is registered as a Foreign Legal Consultant in California and Connecticut, where he advises on Egyptian law and supports cross-border matters involving Egyptian law. He holds an LL.B. from Ain Shams University and an MBA in Enterprise Risk Management from Sacred Heart University — a combination that lets him read a contract the way a lawyer does and weigh a deal the way a risk manager does.
Abdou works fluently in both Arabic and English, and regularly coordinates Arabic-language documentation, due diligence, and local procedure for U.S. counsel and businesses who need a partner they can trust on the ground in Egypt.
